Size Guide

This is where size really does matter!  You will want your wedding cake to be the stunning centre piece that will wow your guests, but you also don't want lots of left overs.  So judging the size can be tricky.  If you are unsure, we recommend catering for 75% of your guests, assuming that maybe not everyone will want a slice.  But it is totally up to you.  Some people want to take the top tier home, some will want to share with guests who can't make the wedding and some just like the look of a larger cake.  You will know how "cakey" your friends and family are and how abundant you want the cake to be.  So it really is a personal choice.

Take a look at our portion guide to help you decide.

Delivery

Wedding cake delivery is handled with the utmost care and includes full setup at your venue. Costs are based on distance and quoted individually, starting from £25.
We welcome collection on single tiered cakes, but we always recommend delivery on larger cakes.

Allergy concerns

If you or your guests have allgeries or intolerences, there are a number of options available.  The whole cake can be free from a certain ingredient, or a single tier, or we can provide extra cupcakes.  We do handle all sorts of ingredients in our kitchen, so we can never guarantee a cake is 100% free from a certain allergen, but we will take steps to ensure no cross contamination occurs.

We are happy to provide lists of ingredients to venues which require the information and a copy of our public liability insurance documents. Please do speak to us about any allergen concerns before placing your order.

Wedding cake consultations

If you would like to arrange a time to come in for a consultation we can sit down and discuss all the details, look at design ideas and if you have any images of cakes that you like, you can bring those along for inspiration.

From our display cakes you will be able to see the relative size of your wedding cake and expamles of how it can be decorated.

We will give you a quote for the cake, icluding delivery and any extras. The cost is £25, which includes drinks for 2 and up to 5 samples of cake to taste. You are more than welcome to bring more people along with you, we would just charge for their drinks separately and extra samples are £4 each. If you decide to go ahead with the order within the next 3 weeks, we will refund the £25 off the final cost of your cake.

Consultations typically last about 45 mins.
